PICASSO
Reliable round the clock surveillance for works or art
No installation arrangement required on a work of art
Security grade 3
Easy installation and setup
Responds to touching, damage and theft
The detector Picasso is intended to secure works of art suspended on walls in museums, galleries, exhibition halls. Typical objects are paintings, tapestries, photos. The system gives warning when the object is touched, moved or removed. A principle that the system is based on makes possible to secure works of art especially when exhibition halls or museums are open to the public.
The secured object is suspended directly to a detector that evaluates forces acted to it. Very small movements, an attempt to take it down or an only touching of the secured object are evaluated in dependence on a sensitivity setting. An alarm is triggered by movements of a few thousands of a millimetre at a detector. The electronic circuit of the detector guarantees a correct function in wide range of weight of works of art and high resistance to a false alarm.
There are two options of the detector Picasso:
Picasso S - standard with potential-free output for connection to a common central unit
Picasso RF - low power with integrated universal transmitter UT Octopus
